No idea where I'm going with this. No idea. Ok, so that's not entirely true.

Decided to tackle the angelic theme.


Messing around trying to feel out the style.
Probably missing the mark.

It's been so long since I've tried drawing anything like this.

Not a huge fan of the rounded edges on no3 i like 2 an 4, itd be great to see you flesh them out a bit more, maybe go crazy with the design a bit

Thanks guys, most of these aren't really well fleshed out in a 3d space. Unfortunately I haven't even drawn anything remotely weaponlike in years. It's a good challenge.

Little more messing around in zbrush. I realized the colors look kinda *cough* lame. Just slapping various matcaps on to get a feel for if any of this works at all. May need to scrap and move on. I dunno.

Would really appreciate any input!

Nice concept! I think the handle looks a little bit blobby, it needs more definition, and i would take the faces in the pommel out.

The top part looks really nice in the screens without color, may be the face in the middle may look more interesting with the eyes uncovered, other than that it`s just about putting some more hours refining, and adding damage here and there to take this to the next level.

About the colors i suggest you to leave that for later when you refine the sculpture, or even in the texture work phase.
