[DS2] Axe, Obikenowan

Greetings Polycounters,

well, at first I wanted to do a demonic weapon, you know with skulls or demon heads, but finally I will try an angelic one.

So, here are the first evolutions of my axe. It will still evolve until I have something I like, but I don't have a lot of time ( or maybe I'm just lazy ^^ ).

For now the name is "Holy Axe of the Divine Justice"... I won't try to do something really original, I just will be happy if I do something which looks good enough... I hope...

Yeah, i like that one! I think the end of the handle from the second one looks a litte bit more interesting! Keep it up!

nice concept, like the handle on the last and the blade has a nice shape, the scales thing is very interesting. Keep it up.

Wow, this is wonderful. How are you planning on integrating the scales? I know there's no jiggly bits allowed.

^ i think it's just shapes carved in metal?
scales is a pretty cool idea in any case, as a design element i definitely like it more than cliche angelic figures.

very nice concept what would happen if you dropped the scales to the baseof the blade? just a thought but I'm really digging the concept

Love it all apart from the curled metal where the hilt meets the Axe head. They seem to thin for DS2 art style. Needs to be more chunky.
