[DS2] Axe, Timtendo
Hello to all of Polycount. My heroes.
I'm really excited for this contest. I can't even express how cool I think it is that a company with such amazing artistic talent, Vigil, would let us into their world and show us how they make their magic on top of giving us the opportunity to share a tiny piece of glory with this contest. Truly humbling.
I think I'm going to choose to do an axe based off of the Crow Temple theme. It just calls to me. I've pounded out a few ideas for the axe head. Take a look and tell me what you think.
B and C are indeed very similar. I wanted to toy with the idea of having the size of the blades exaggerated.
I am going to work on the handle and pummel and fit everything to the guides tomorrow. I just wanted to get something up before I lost faith in myself. Cheers.

I really dig how the three skulls seem to create a face looking at us. I prefer A the best, I love the asymmetry of it.
