hi there,

im working on the making a low poly object fronm a high poly. And I have a problem with my render.

At the moment I have a standard material with a normal map in my bump slot and a AO map in my diffuse slot.

The viewport is set to display with hardware display with maps. I havve no light in my scene.

In seems as though my render is way brighter then in the viewport. Because of this I lose alot of detail and it just gives the wrong idea of the color I want. I also tried desaturating the diffuse texture and play with brightness and contrast but it still gives an too bright render.

Anyone might have an idea where the issue might lay?

next to that, when I render the object with a directX shader metal bump i get a great result lighting wise but my render is covered with black pixels. i compared the 2 diffuse maps for both materials and it seems that the directX shader alters the colors in the diffuse map with an emulator map. Is there a way to achieve the same result with just a standard material. ( or ofc get rid of those black pixels)
