Hey guys!

Decided I wanted to take my hand at an angelic axe!

I'm not the best 2D artist...so this was what I got.



Played around with the placement of some of the artifacts. Any C&C at this stage is welcome!

Anyways, this was the first design that wasn't sacreligious. (Hammer of Christ, Axe of Longinus, etc.)

Hey man, really interesting start. Be careful with your shape arrangement though, looking at most of the reference there tends to be little to no straight lines. Try and add some more flow into there. I might also stay away from using a crucifix. My best guess is if you want to use it, make it much more subtle.

It's a unique shape but my first initial reaction is that the head almost looks sci-fi in design but the rest of it seems to match the style pretty damn well. Also don't bash your 2D skills

Thanks Max! I'll try and find a way to make it feel a little more organic and flow a bit better

The crucifix was a shot in the dark, I didn't really think it would work, but I thought I'd try.

Thank you very much as well, Habboi! I appreciate the response a lot, It's really fun to try and work within a new style and I'm enjoying the challenge a lot. I'll try not to bash my 2d skills TOO much :P
