first couple of concepts.
i am not much of a concept artist. but i personally like the last one best so far, might need a more interesting hilt, tho. thoughts?

I'd go for the 2nd, 3rd or last of the top row. Some interesting shapes in those.

I quite like the classic demon club on the bottom left. I can imagine him swinging a huge ass version of that.

i just realized that most of those concepts will be hard to fit into the reference model, especially the long, thin hilts. hrmpghf

Really liking two and four on the top row!

still stuck on the idea of an axe with 2 shifted blades, ready to rip down the skin of enemies
but the concept still feels a bit random - and not really fitting the ds art style, yet. i looks more like a orc axe mixed with a lightsaber or something like that
