Went with a Kingdom of the dead type hammer:



Proportions and shapes are not yet final. I think i'll start changing a few things when I start sculpting. Any comments are appreciated.

The kingdom of the dead stuff I've seen all seems to have more fierce, jagged angles. This looks more meticulously crafted, with intricate little mechanisms.

It's definitely cool, though! It looks like it could disintegrate people, send shock waves through the ground or something.

change the theme "maker" and you're golden. i really like how its very different from most other entries and with some work to push it towards the maker theme (not much though, don't loose its overall character) this could work very well.

It's got "Maker" written all over it. I think some parts will need changing like the teeth gripping the gem to make it 100% Maker but well done on the well thought out image. I like entries who really "think" about their design.

I think playing up the organic bits and getting them all nice and chunky.
