Maya 2012 bonus tools problem

Hey PC, having a problem getting the bonus tools to work in maya. I am using 64 bit and its a student licence. Ive tried installing and uninstalling a couple of times. there is no bonus tools shelf on start up?. ive checked where ist installing and it is being installed to the correct place, ive checked in the preferences to load and auto load tools but that does nothing?. Any ideas guys and girls

I don't know if Bonus Tools are suppose to create a shelf (Rarely use) but they do create a tab on the Hodbox and on the Menu bar, did you check there?

cheers madness but ive sorted it, I had to manually add the pythons and scripts bit strange but its working.

I installed it ,But
I have the same problem,How did you manually add the pythons and scripts
I can not see any bonus tool word on shelf.
