weaken details without losing sharpness [zbrush]

hard to explain with words so heres a picture instead:
so basically i have some creases which are too bold, and i want to reduce them height-wise without losing the sharp cavity in the middle.
so how do i do diz

You should just use morphing. Store Morph target. Smooth your model enought - you'll get an "ugly smooth" )) - but it's ok. Now using morph slider get a bit of original details back. Hope it will help

The form brushes also allow you to sculpt without damaging (much) your high-frequency detail.
