Hey guys im working on an environment and this is my first 3D environment ever so i would like to have some comments and crits... so this is the Concept (not sure who made it) but i am trying to make this... i have started with the ship door:



Please comment and crit so i can get better at 3D and make something nice for my portfolio... so please comment and crit

nice model , but you can see that you have a 90 degree that will not bake well on normal map .
so did you make a blockout to start your scene ?

and you have a nice concept too good luck

Thanks i will fix those angels asap...
and not a blockout but i just got rough measurments and im going on from there

Hey man nice door! Blockouts aren't just for proportion but also to get a sense for lighting and composition too! What works in the concept might not work in 3d!
