Electric Mammoth Studios is seeking a highly-skilled Maya generalist for a short contract.
The successful candidate will be tasked with:
Transfer of motion capture data to a custom rig
Re-targeting of mocap and some clean up
Creating character sets and animation clips in the Trax editor
Exporting .FBX takes containing multiple animation clips
Consulting with the EMS art team and helping with general troubleshooting
Experience with Unity's asset pipeline and best practise for animation export procedures is highly desirable.
A Melbourne-based applicant is preferred but not essential and any suitable candidate will have the option to work remotely.
The position will be for an initial 2-3 week period with the possibility of further work depending on results.
