RTS, 3rd person shooter, FPS throw away enemy, hero, 200ft tall boss character? Bipedal human, tenti-monster, octopod, centaur?

I see, generaly, all that would be calculated out at first and then a budget would be passed down to you the artist. How about throw away enemy in a PFS?

Well, in a Plastered Face Shooter, you can really do what every you want, because everyone is too drunk to notice. . .
unless you were talking about a Pretty Freakin' Small game, and then of course, you can get away with pretty low poly counts.
