RTT Student Awards 2012 l Adventurous Visionaries wanted
Hi there,
after last year's highly successful competitions, we would like to announce the RTT Student Awards 2012. We are looking to award the most creative minds in the fields of software science and design with two student competitions: RTT Emerging Technology and RTT Funky Visualization.
The guiding principle for 2012 is Interaction between reality and computer graphics. The RTT Emerging Technology Award focuses on how the future of graphics and interactive techniques can influence our surroundings or interact with our environment. The RTT Funky Visualization Award forms a showcase for the implementation of 2D or 3D products, objects or animations into real footage and image contents and of course the other way round.
The awards are part of our university program, RTT UP, which targets universities, research teams, and students around the world.
Prizes will be awarded by RTT cooperation partners. The winning teams will also be invited to present their winning projects to a large audience of high-end 3D visualization experts at an international conference in Munich in April 2012.
The closing date for submissions for both awards is March 31st 2012.
