Alan Wake will be available on 16th of February for PC. Good news for those who don't have a 360 It has higher resolution textures too.

just bought it, havent played through the dlc, just the main game before on XB. cant wait to play through it again, the environments are fantastically moody.

environments are fucking awesome. The lighting is top-notch and while the facial animation is...hard to watch, the voice acting is superb. so the only thing thats bugged me at all is the not quite as bad as this:

Played it on 360 with a friend a while back and some of the environment art really blew my mind. Especially the mental hospital with the back area ledge overlooking a lake and mountains.

Also the game is actually kinda scary. It's a shame it went away from the original idea of an open world and surviving each night. Reminded me of that film with Will Smith and sounded really cool. Despite that the game turned out pretty damn well although play it in short bursts or it gets repetitive.

Just a heads up I noticed when buying, if you're wary/holding out, the dlc is only free until the 22nd of feb. kinda lame but I guess they have their reasons.
