Still working on this but was testing out the best way to render out my high poly models, So here it is so far. I know the render makes it look final, but there is still alot more to do. Most of the reciever detail is modeled in, minus a few indents.
Trying to get a nice render style in order to put together a portfolio, which will hopefully go with the websites design.
EDITWIRE:
Crits/comments would be nice. Cheers.

I really wanna become good like you but i dont know where to start, the sad part is I know Maya and 3ds max(not as good as maya) but i can never create somthing that stunning. Pleasse help.... how did you learn? and books tips or somthing.... I am currently working on a game project... but i really need to learn how to make amazing stuff like this....
Thanks alot
As far as your render I think it looks pretty good, perhaps the shadows could be lightened up just a hair.
@Dismembered: Thanks for the crits and will take them on board. I believe your image is an airsoft though, they tend to be more curvy and toyish looking. Will see what I can do.
@JohnnyCrespo: Still wip so some things arnt modeled yet.
@Korrax: Gonna start the low poly when I've finished another project. Not really thought about a budget but hopefully under 10k rougly.
@Racer445: Yeah thanks for the crit, this was actually inspired by your AK74U tutorial even though it's practically vanished from the web lol.. I will see what I can do with the edge sharpness, the render is made up of a few compositions and sharpen passes so may be the reason for them looking oversharp.
Thanks for the feedback. I am juggling this with another project so will post again when I have something.
