Hey peoples, this is a project I've been working on for awhile now and I finally got up the nerve to post it. This is the first full scene I've done so I'm still figuring this out.
I'm doing a high-tech corporate lobby type thing with lots of glass, metal surfaces, and expensive tiles.
Still got a lot of work to do and I'm trying to churn through assets as fast as I can. You can see there's lots missing like wall panels, doors, elevators at the back, and the reception area. The lighting is also pretty temporary.
I need some good critique on this, I'm starting to go crosseyed from looking at this so hard.
don't really know what I'm doing as well so if there's a much easier and more efficient way of constructing this please let me know. For instance the whole building is made of 3 separate static meshes that were combined. Probably not the best method of doing that.

Let me know what you guys think.
I hope to have this done by the end of the month if I can. Desperately need to update my portfolio in time for GDC.

You said you built the entire level out of 3 static meshes- sometimes this can work, but I find that building modularly will save you headaches and make it easier to work with- you could have flat planes with a tiling texture on it in different sizes and just reuse them.
That's all I can think of right now. Good luck!
Thanks for the input, I really appreciate it.
Your textures are also low on color variety and high on noise which isn't a good combination in a building. It's hard to tell where the floor stops and the walls begin in some of your shots.
