Fantasy Sword

Figured I should drop this here. For an assignment I had to make a sword and texture it. Here it is + inspiration/mood board

Would appreciate any feedback, I've already turned in the assignment but I'd love to improve it.

Maybe you could test how it looks when you add scratches etc to the spec map.

Im certainly not a professional here, so take this lightly . I think the handle blends in with the blade to much, adding a normal map to make the handle have a wrapped material should defiantly help break it up a bit more.

I look do like the colour scheme you went with though, good luck!

If you want to make the handle pop out more, you could also change the color of it.

You could try making it a redish orange color to contrast the blue.

And if you are going to redo it, I would take some loops off the middle part of the Blade and put it to the front.
