Okay this may sound so stupid coming from me.I know how to model and animate character stuff but whenever I want to animate a camera movement(trying out animating a scene with camera movements).I don't get the perspective view of the scene the way I would want it.I want to create a camera movement through a church door and it moves through the pews and moves towards the character as she turns towards the camera. It zooms into her eye.Now the church is big relative to the character but the camera in the Maya scene can't even navigate or move around inside the church without going inside a pillar or pew.Is the camera too big or I should increase the scale of the church and girl?I tried increasing the angle of view to like 128,or reducing the focal length to 15 but the perspective distortion is terrible especially as the camera approaches the eye.Should I decrease the camera scale in the camera attributes?
What settings are used for camera movement in animation films or games cause there is little or no perspective distortion.

Post up some images that describe the issue and show your layout and scale. The default camera settings in Maya should be fine for what you want to do, though you can change them to suit the look you're going for if needed. I don't understand exactly what you mean by the camera going inside a pillar. The camera's scale doesn't affect what it renders in the image.

Some things you may also want to do camera cuts or zooms rather than physically moving the camera through a single shot.
