In order to strengthen its team, the Art and Science Allies Laboratory (a Virtual Reality & Multimedia Park lab) is looking for a:
Technical Artist
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement new techniques that increase art quality and efficiency across disciplines
- Production pipeline supervising
- Communicate solutions with art and programming teams
- Document and knowledge share solutions
- Modeling, shading and texturing
- Content check and correction
Qualifications (mandatory):
- Degree in Information Technologies (or multimedia related degree)
- Excellent knowledge of Autodesk Maya
- Ability to learn new production processes
- Good knowledge of real-time 3D content development and production
- Previous experience with other 3D productions
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Excellent problem solving attitude
- Ability to communicate in Italian
Nice to have:
- Previous experience with OGRE or other real-time 3D engines
- Previous experience with other real-time 3D productions
- Knowledge of real-time IDEs and engines (UDK, Unity, etc)
- Knowledge of scripting languages (MEL, Python, Perl, etc)
- Knowledge of programming languages (Java, C++)
- Knowledge of other 3D authoring softwares (3DsMax, MudBox, Zbrush, Blender)
- Knowledge of other 2D authoring softwares (Photoshop, GIMP)
