Been doing too much modular environments lately! So here is some therapeutic bevels! Im trying out concepting in zbrush a bit, im also doing a full body concept, which i will post when it looks less retarded and more like something cool! Anyway, here is the doodleconcept and the semi-bevelled face!

the render is just simple GI-render in modo actually,really nothing special, one of the preset backgrounds etc. Drag-drop, done. No additional lights, the material is just a basic color with like 5& reflection.
Can't wait to see where you taking this!
Is there anyway to watch the live streams after the fact? I can't seem to get them to play. I would love to check them out. I bought the Modo upgrade since they had a sale for early adopters of Modo, so I'd like to try and get back into it, and watching your vids would be helpful.
dtschultz: yeah, its because of the AA-algorithm, combined with few AA samples, and very contrasty reflections. The live streams should be there on my stream, just click them : ))
soo, doodling on the body, starting to like the upper torso a bit, the arms and legs are still very much up in the air, im gonna try to scrap the legs altogether and try another variant aswell, hm hmmm...
You keep highlighting groups of polygons and with one keystroke their edges are hardened, and somehow their corners as well. Im pretty sure I saw you perform some impossible bevels and edgeloops that would seemingly fuck up other parts of your model. It looks like you add pentagons and triangles all over the place.
You model like you don't even care about topology, like its not even a concern.
BUT then you hit tab, and voila!

Computron: Yeah, I never care about topology as long as it looks good when smoothed Alot of the hardening stuff was with subdivision-weighting : )) Its modo, aaah yeah!

I should consider the edge weighting stuff in modo. Apparently it looks like very useful.How much edge weight amount are you using?And which tool for placing the screws/bolts instantly?
though not sure if possible but it would be nice if you could recored in full res or atleast 720p and up that to vimeo or youtube later, since when you start hardning edges up its realy hard to tell at the low res what is happing, eg edge weighting, or support loops/ bevels.
