Wierd Problem With Mesh In UDK

Hi Polycount, i'm having this wierd problem with my mesh when i import it from 3ds max into UDK, does anyone have an idea of what this may be? Notice in the max's viewport all is fine, but in udk you can see the issue around the mouth and eyes and on the back of the head, also the light/dark texture variation.

I'm assuming your model was unwrapped in half. That center line could be unwelded verts or edges, also be sure to reapply a smoothing after merging both halves. Same for around the neck, make sure everything is welded and smoothed.

I'm not certain, but I'd assume half your model was unwrapped and baked? Or maybe certain parts like the head? If so, the seam created after applying the texture is from the normals and how it calculated your normals when you baked the one half (however, if you baked a full solid mesh and never flipped and merged any components, I'd fall back to making sure smoothing and welding is handled).
