Hello Polycount! I finally got around to putting the finishing touches on my Comic Con 2011 entry, only a month into 2012... so better late than never right... right? I've been putting a couple hours a week into this every since I failed to meet the deadline. Super huge thanks to PC members Organized Chaos and TK Frog for helping me keep my head in the game and actually finish some personal art for once.
The brief was Juggernaut imagined in a world based around a Celtic / Scandinavian fusion.

Thanks for taking a look. I had a blast even when struggling through getting this one finished. Maybe this year I'll finish closer to the deadline... but I'm pretty sure that is wishful thinking!
Oh also: These are rendered in X2 shader in Max.
Cheers, and thanks!

Awesome anatomy bro and just everything.

you could maybe add a stronger light, that could help read the different materials more
Throw some AO on that low poly bake please.
The head looks ridiculous though, its so tiny.
@jocz Thanks yea, I admit I'm not very learned when it comes to lighting setups. Thank you very much.
@itismario Thanks man. The material is a granite type stone buffed and fashioned to armor, perhaps the spec is too hot in places and makes it read more metalic. I was going for polished stone. And he has a neck, it's somewhere between his massive traps :P
Some critique: I feel that some of the metal spec is too low, perhaps you could increase the brightness? The kilt cloth is somewhat lacking folds and stuff too.
