iBooks Author 3D widget

I'm curious has anyone tried creating 3d widget for the new iBooks 2 using iBooks Author?
from what I understand is that it uses .DAE (collada) format.

prolly isnt worth using ibook author due to it;s licensing iirc you can olny sell content made with ibook author on apples bookstore.

@passerby: it's been clarified that it is just the ebook it's self that you can't sell anywhere else as a format as far as I understand. they don't own the content or anything like that. it's just the format. so you could obviously use the text and models elsewhere, your copyright and usage rights are intact.

So as far as I can see there is no downside to making an iBook
