Hi all I am new to posting on the polycount forums. I have been observing many of the artist that have posted recently, there is some great work posted and I thought it was time I started adding my own. Any CC is welcome.
Base model took me 30 minutes in Maya and the high detail sculpt took between 2 to 3 hours. I used Zbrush uv master to unwrap the three pieces. I then normal mapped and baked them in Maya.
This a project I am creating for a client project, it is still in its blocking in phase so still much to do. The models design will be greatly influenced by the art of Syd Mead.

Couple of hours spent sculpting in Zbrush when I had some spare time
I know its not that low poly depending where it would be used, but it was before I set myself along the gaming industry pathway.
