Best websites for hosting a portfolio

ive been looking around for free, decent websites that offer clean, straight forward portfolio templates but i dont feel like sifting through all the crappy sites. Can anyone suggest some web hosting sites they use and trust? I would also prefer a site that allows me to use my own domain name (one i already own), looks like a lot of sites charge fees for that perk

I second weebly. Simple layouts, and quick and fast updating. I'm using weebly to build my portfolio site currently.

Carbonmade is pretty good, Deviant art also has a portfolio feature which has some nice options. As for the whole domain name thing, both have the feature you want but you need premium acc's to use your own domain name... which I guess isn't much help to you, but they are worth checking out anyway.
