Here is a zombie i am working on. I used zbrush for the renders and composited it in PS. Still need to work on the cloth, but overall its almost the point i want it. Any suggestions or critiques are welcomed

Awesome as ever dude!! Nice job with the cloths!!! I think the renders a bit dark though atm.

I kind of like how the render is dark, it gives the eery mood which fits the subject well... The black background is whats throwing it off and causing the character to get lost into it.. Maybe give him some rim light- experiment with a green neon color- I think that would give it even more dramatic lighting and help him stick out from the background more.

That looks awesome. Only crit: too much DoF for my liking. Seems like 80% of the picture is blurred.

These are great suggestions!

I will tone down the DoF, and add a rim light to the back. All increase the intensity of the light around the focal point. That why it isn't to lost within the rest of the body.

Don't know if I should add a background or keep it black.

What do you guys think?

Looking good Delvolta!

In my opinion, I think it looks a little too plain right now without a background. Adding it will make the character that much more interesting to look at and it'll stand out more too.

thanks i think so too. I'll be watching some zombie movies soon, to see if i can find the right scene for the zombie (now named Nigel).
