Hi Folks, I used to frequent these boards, but haven't visited in a long time. I recently bought a Touchpad and installed Android on it, which has given me access to Autodesk Sketchbook. In conjunction with a stylus, I've found this to be a great little digital sketchbook and have started making sketches, which I can then colour quite easily.
My second "painting" is of an Ogre-style character, which took about 8 hours in total. There was a lot of redrawing of most sections, and due to the inaccuracy of the stylus on the touchscreen, lots of zooming in to extreme levels to draw straight. I'm pretty happy with how this turned out.
The images show the progression from sketch to coloured work -

I've also started a blog for this stuff -

I welcome any critical feedback and if anyone would like to attempt colouring the blank linework, that would be cool too! :poly136:

Looking at this with fresh eyes today, the colours are very comic-booky, I'm going to take this onto the computer and try some more realistic colouring.
