ZB- combine subtools & preserve uvs (is this possible)

Hey all,
Curious if anybody knows how to combine subtools in zbrush and have it preserve my uvs. As of right now, whenever I " merge Visible " in ZB, it destroys my UVs for each subtool.

Anybody have ideas?

Theres a little UV button next to the merge visible button
