HI, well I finally learned how to do the lightmap and the model looks way better but I still need to know what to do with the actual image I created? does that image have to be "plug" or "connected" to the material in UDK? because I haven't done such thing I just imported the model and put the difusse, spec and normal map in the material and with only those is looking much better, any help will be REALLY apreciated. thanks for your time polycounters.

Ok thank you so much that clear all up, so the image I generate when I do the "lightmap" is mostly useless and can be erased from my PC.
it can really define the smaller details of your mesh, especially if you're working off a highpoly source.
