WIP house - suggestions appreciated

A bit of explanantion before my real qustions: it's ash's house from the pokemon anime; it's kind of render-expensive but i tried to optimize it for occlusion culling, that's the reason of the ammount of textures and objects, and the use of modular pieces for the fence; I haven't yet added the vegetation; some colors and shapes are not so close to the references.

My questions: I've used layer styles to fake shadows, AO and bevelling in the door, windows and post box instead of baking from a high poly, what did you think about it, does it look good and reallistic (not CGed) ?
I tried to make a reallistic look but not so decayed, then I've used just some soft dirt using a multiply layer, and baked AO, but it seems like it's too clean, should i make it look more dirty ?
I haven't included in the normal maps the painted wood, ceramic from the pots and metal because they seem to be flat, am I right about it ?

Any other suggestions are appreciated.
