So I just ran across this site:
http://avatarsculptureworks.com/
They do some pretty interesting stuff with fiberglass sculptures.
It seems to be getting more popular, or maybe I'm just noticing it more, but I've been seeing lots of little examples like this lately.
I was wondering if you guys have any more examples of this type of work? I know
Jordu Schell does similar stuff too, albeit more stylized, which is fine of course.
I'm also curious about how they go about painting these, and what their thought process is for that. Any information out there on that?

A lot of the Ron Mueck books follow along on his process, though I don't recall any of them going into too much detail about the craft. But you could probably glean something from them about his team's coloring approach anyway...
