Maya MopRenderable Curve Help

hello just looking for a little help with this tool, i cant find a way to edit the geometry that is generated from this.
i was thinking just deleting history would make the curve no longer effect the geometry and it does, and i was able to delete the original curve, but the geometry made my it i can't still only select via the outliner, and i can select or move any verts in it.
