Hi everyone! been working on a female body sculpt, you know the typical 3d artist thing to do, but, i'm trying to get to a more anime look. I'd appreciate some fresh eyes and also if anyone has references of 3d anime they could point to that would be appreciated.

I think for an anime look you might want to tone down some of the definition on the body... this isn't to say that it should be formless though! There's still a lot of subtlety that should be respected. Think more elegant and smooth with just the right amount of definition to ground it in reality, but to not overwhelm with detail. I'd look at some of the many anime figure statues available out there for reference. There are definitely archetypal body types used in anime and it would help to decide which one most closely fits what you're trying to make.

My gut reaction would be to tone down the definition overall, and then lessen the exaggerated curve lines of the body's silhouette. I find these kinds of things are more hallmarks of western stylization. I'd lessen the size of her butt as well or at least reshape it. Put a head on her body as soon as possible to make sure that your body looks appropriate for it. The head will actually be the most difficult part!

I'd consider relaxing your bind pose a little too to make it a little easier on yourself. You can always pose it back again later after you're confident with the body shape and proportions.
