Hello Everyone!
So this is my first time posting. I've decided to create the ZF-1 gun from the Fifth Element. I would like some feedback on it please.
Here is the picture of the High poly version of the gun.
I will have some pictures of the low poly all textured up soon.
Thanks in advanced!

Here is the reference I am using for the gun:
It is a movie replica of the gun. I've also got a great turnaround of it as well.
Here is the wireframe of the gun. This is the High poly. I started out with box modeling and turn on NURMS subdivision when I want to see it smoothed.
I guess you're not a cold blooded killer :poly129:
The Fifth Element was what maxed out my interest in sci-fi stuff
Love how you shaded the red button that was my second favorite part of the movie
lookin good cant wait to see it finished
And here it is animating:
I watched the scene with gun animating, and replicated it frame by frame. Never realized how fast it was. The top part with the light doesn't rise until a little after in the scene, but I decided to raise it with the rest. The anti aliasing is just real bad, and I can't seen to find an option to increase the resolution size for the shadows. I know with a static mesh I could just make the resolution for the Light map bigger, and it would fix it. But I can't seem to find it on a skeletal mesh. anybody know of a fix for this?
Thanks
