Multi UV sets / Textures in Maya

Hi
Does any one know how to connect Multi UVs set in Maya?

* I have a model which it has a multi uvs sets (4 sets) ..I want to connect all of them in one material ..how can I do that?

I believe you can just select the Uv sets by faces and then assign them in the hyperShade.:thumbup: hope it works.

onionhead just gave u the best answer but wouldnt it be best to simply squish all the uvs inbetween 0-1 and have one texture?

bugo: just curious, why is it better to squish the textures to 0-1? doesnt that give you less resolution to work with?

@ bugo... that wont work... like onionhead said you would loose all your texture resolution... feature film assets can have hundreds of textures just for one object...


i would use this script here... its using mudbox file naming...

in your case you have to name your textures like this...
u1_v1 is for the first tile... u2_v1 for the second... and so on...

texturename_u1_v1.tga
texturename_u2_v1.tga
texturename_u3_v1.tga
texturename_u4_v1.tga
