Vimeo, Polycount can you allow it to work please

Hello

Can someone at polycount allow Vimeo links to work as well as Youtube?

For example both of the links below are just the address but only Youtube link works?

Wtf its the same point for adding youtube embeds right to watch videos with more ease right!?!?!?
Unless theres a greater mystery behind this that must be solved!

I would just be happy if there was always a maximize button, without having to actually go to youtube to get it. Often you just get the play, volume and watch later button.

oh btw the syntax to make it work:

[ vv ]########[ /vv ]

### = the vimeo video number

and no spaces inside the brackets, of course.

badass! all the videos in this thread showed up as white boxes until i reloaded the page, but works great!

side note, not sure if it matters, but embedded youtube videos are centered and vimeo ones are not

I'm looking at doing it the same way as YouTube videos. It should be doable, I just need to test it out first. Also looking into having the YouTube HD vids properly sized.

Does anyone know why the vimeo player still doesn't support direct timeline-jumping outside of the buffered data ( like YouTube and countless others ) ?
Is it the video format they are using ?

Essentially because of how their Flash player works you can't seek what isn't buffered. See: http://vimeo.com/forums/topic:10620 I tested the HTML5 player on the site itself and it works in Chrome 16.
