First 3D Head

Hello all, this is my fist attempt at a HUMAN head. I did the brunt of this work in a few hours (accumulated) and For my first head I think im somewhat satisfied...only this thing looks hideous..my inner art guru does not agree... a few pointers and a pep talk would really do me some good! Any crits, please, are all welcome!

Focus on getting your main facial loops in place, and then the rest of your topology will fall into place nicely.

Don't have time for an in-depth critique - but just a quick comment - is that supposed to be a placeholder for the eye? If so, it looks like if there were another eye they would intersect a great deal... that ball is massive.

@Shinkiu yes, it is simply a place holder for the eye, I was going to start shaping the socket. I agree, the ball is massive, just couldn't' judge for myself!

@Gilesruscoe: Thank for the graphical interp, it really puts things into perspective a lot better.
