Been working on this for some days and thought it would be time to open up a thread. Still want to add some small exterior details and a simple interior.
@n88tr : Yeah they where, they where also used by the military. @felipefrango : Thanks! @Computron : It's being made with 3d studio max, and here's a wire for you
A little update for you all, did a simple interior (still need to add some bits) And placed curtains at the windows to save me work on modeling the back interior
try to solve those Ngon polys at the rear near brak lights and above gas tank cap. Overall I love this model and vehicle. Its not so often people give this much detail on vehicles like this and prefer making sports car .
Its your project though otherwise I would love to see it all busted up, rust, dust, wear and tear broken stuff.
In sub-d, you can have n-gons and triangles, and in some cases the model will subdivide better with them.
Umm i dont know where u get that info from but as far as vehicles (car) are concerned triangles and Ngons are your worst enemies for high end renderings, reason when you apply shaders you end up having bumps and dents which are not visible on clay renders or naked eye at first glance. High end automotive ad agencies dont like that aswell so its good practise to avoid them.

Yeah but since it mesh is used to bake normals later on, it doesnt really matter.. as long as its flat
Nice "Buhanka" We called it like this back in Russia. Please don't spoil this guy while you'll be doing low-res and textures, because the HP is great. Good luck.
