Character Project -- Eldor

Hey guys, looking for some crits on this new project as I do it.
First, here's my simple turntable I doodled:



Here's what I've got so far:


What I know needs to be done:
-Fix the crotch (Way too wide)
-Make the head
-Add details to collar and arms

Critique would be greatly appreciated! Thanks for your time.

On the model the legs start from too near the sides, move them in a bit. I'd also look into getting more even polygon distribution.

Agreed, the legs don't seem to join the body in a way that makes sense, and the hands are too dense compared to the rest of the model.

Thanks for the ideas, guys! I was worried I was spending too much polys but now I feel more confident I can add some more detail to his arms and such. Will update soon!

You should look into learning some anatomy drawing if you want to model characters. Your proportions are off. The shoulders and the hips are too wide.
