Hi guys! My first post here. Making the rounds, and uploading some of the work I did on Uncharted:Golden Abyss. I guess I'll just start with this Truck I did, and then add onto this thread with other objects. Hope this will be okay. So up first: 1952 Chevy Truck. It has a mix of a 50's GMC truck as well, to keep it generic. Created alot of the base pieces in 3ds max. Did all of the banging up and painting in Zbrush.

looks pretty cool !
I would make sure to check that its ok to post this stuff up now seeing as how the game isnt out yet. Hire ups might not like it :O Just a thought
Truck ended up being 11000 poly's
but that's ok, since your portfolio contains awesome stuff and you should have posted a link to it anyway.

lol, I'm an idiot...
Whats more concerning is based on your online portfolio you have been posting a ton of Uncharted Golden Abyss work months before the game released. This is absolutely in direct violation of NDA you signed when you started. You posted up that truck (according to the date) back in August. Some of that stuff dates back to March
Honestly if I was you I would take all those images off your website right away. Ask your leads when you can post your work up and only then post it up when they give you the ok. Breaking NDA's is not something you want to do/be known for and you can get in a lot of trouble for it.
If they dont let you know when you can post the images up I would wait, and post them up a month after the game releases here in the States. Just my personal opinion.
STILL... HUGE NO NO!
[EDIT] Saw your stuff now.. Looks super dude! Congrats on a release!
Buy a Vita everyone. Start saving now!
Lead environment artist and only props? Post some environemnets!
Working on the Vita has been great, as it lets me work on a next gen platform, and create art the same way everyone does for the ps3. The only difference would be map sizes for the most part. The Vita has a seperate cpu and gpu, so while we got close to using up our budgets, we never quite did.
Next game I will probably do more level work/layout, as I do quite well blocking out mesh quickly, and providing a first pass for design. But I have to say that I really enjoyed creating the hi poly organic assets...less bugs too
Heres a shot of the truck from maya..
Also, more props for Syphon Filter, love that franchise.
Would be really awesome if you could post some more.
@bipolar realy nice stuff you show off here. Keep it comeing!
Only thing that bothers me a bit is how 'metal' is generally made, but yeah. UC is still one of the best looking series ever made.
Do you mind sharing your workflow and also the experience working at NaughtyDogs?
Also is keyfront a plugin or a rendering program?
I personally think it looks better without the wires. Great job. more more!
Thanks 5 finger and crazyeyes! I'll have more to show in a coupple of weeks. Still geting stuff together.
