Really basic book

Hey, how would I go about closing this book? It needs to be animated to close. Bend simply bends the cover which should be rather solid and I can't find another modifier to do what I need

you could use 2 bend modifiers with limitations that go along the spine of the book

How about skeletal animation? A bone for each flap, maybe parented to a bone for the spine. That's probably how I would have approached it myself.

I will try the 2 bend modifiers first, and if that fails I will try the skeletal animation, im not to familiar in setting up bones ect..

Yep books are a bitch to rig up. There is a lot of complex motion taking place.

The last book I had to rig up I did with bones for the spine and pages then used morph targets to adjust the shape of the pages.
