Physynth for iPad

teaser-01.jpg

Physynth for iPad is a physics based synth and sample trigger device, it's also a hell of a lot of fun to tinker with. It's out on the App Store on the 15th.

When it came to visualising and creating it in App form I decided that I wanted a whole feel, a vibe to take you back to that 'finding dad's old 70s hardware in the garage' feel. Wood and plastic moog style was exactly what I wanted to feel.

This is all realtime, the lighting and specular highlights, vignette bordering. Any critique is welcome, please tell me what you think and how you would like to see me do future work :)

The two things I am most proud of are the texture work and the 3D tilt camera which you can't see in screenshots but the app itself tilts with your movements to create a sense of 3D immersion.
