[WIP] OneLungLewis - Red Right Hand

Well I couldn't wait until the new year to start a new personal project. There is an old Nick Cave and The Bad Seed song Called Red Right Hand. I hadn't heard it in a while and it came up on my sketching shuffle and it got the wheels turning. So here is what came out of the sketch session. Can't wait to start this guy for sure!

He's not exactly the sort of character I imagine based on that song, but you've got a great looking design there regardless.

An art challenge based around pieces inspired by music could be a neat idea actually.

Maybe it just means that's his Killin' hand. I've heard nick Cave but can't say I've heard that song.

It is a great drawing though, would be really fun to work from.

I didn't really use the song or its words as specific guides for my character. I just like the song and was listening to it when I started drawing, and the above image is what came out of it. I took it as his right hand is his killing hand.
