Need help posting

Hi all. I am Jeff and i am new to this forum.

I came across the mutant contest and thought i could post something that i did. but it seems i cannot post any attachments.. The "insert image" asks for an url.

If not then how do i upload the screenshots of my work.

Somebody please help.

ok i have one more problem now.. none of the attachments are getting uploaded. i maintained the attachment key ratio , and still it says upload failed.

does this have to do anything with he browser that i am using??

Just upload your image to imageshack or some similar site. Welcome to the forum btw.

no, pm one of the moderators or admins and they will upload it for you, Also, please read the forum policies before attempting to upload your stuff here. I am sure you are allowed to post an image after few posts..I think.

Do what Goraaz said, or go to imgur.com, that is another good site for image uploading.

Attachments suck anyway. I think many people won't go through the trouble of clicking them.

Just use any number of image hosting options such as:

imgur
photobucket
imageshack
dropbox

and directly link to your images in your posts using img tags like this:

[noparse][/noparse]

Ok look, try photobucket since I happen to have an example on hand of how to use it. Go to photobucket.com, upload an image, and use the highlighted code to paste in the forums here:
