3DS Max 2010 Crashing Problem

Hello everyone every 5 minutes or so while 3D Modelling it freezes then my monitor glitches out and then it goes back but 3DS Max has stopped responding or crashed then i have to go to auto back to get my save. Any idea why this is happening. And yes i have SP1 Installed for 3DS Max 2010.

Why 2010? That was probably one of the buggiest releases there have been in max history. I would jump to 2012 or go back to 2009.
