3D max, image plane is black

Just wanted to start something to model, i found this image plane at google, when i try to import it in 3D max, my image plane is black, not toally, but can't see the image clearly.

I don´t really get what you are referring to :-/
If you meant that the image is too dark, try disabling Gamma/Lut in the Viewport Configuration.

In the Perspective View right click on Perspective->Configure(if i´not misaken right now)
