That looks like a cross between a Suezo from Monster Rancher and a testicle.
...and you know, for Polycount, that's pretty appropriate. Right now the render's a bit dark, the background could probably stand to be a bit less distracting and the character should probably take up more space.
As far as non-presentation of your testicle goes I'd give his eye a bit more attention. There's some great tutorials on using transparencies and specularity to give the eye a more wet look, which you might be able to work in since it looks like you have some room in your texture and poly budget for a few more tris.
Also it looks like you have some weighting issues with your rig, take the time to properly paint those influences.
