SlipStream is a strategic arcade racer. Be the first across the line by choosing elements that allow you to boost and ride the slipstream left by your opponents.

As part of my uni course, we had to make a game. The idea was that over a period of 2 semester, a group of 4-5 people from a bunch of different courses (programming, animation, IT, game design, business, among others) would work to make a game. The first part was design and graybox testing, then the second semester was building and what not.

For the game I was basically a generalist. I bounced around starting from design, physics design and tuning, special effects and track design. A fair amount of the texture work is mine too (rocks, sand, grass, etc). But of course none of this would have happened without the whole team (one dedicated artist with some networking/coding, a dedicated programmer with some shader knowledge, and a designer who also made our interface).

Well, we eventually finished up, then worked on it some more, adding a few new tracks, some graphical improvements, etc. The game is up on IndieDB at the moment, and works fantastically at a LAN, if I do say so myself. Find your friends and head over to slipstreamgame.com, hit the download button and start racing.
Slipstream, the strategic arcade racer, is now available for download online. Go to the downloads page on slipstreamgame.com and pick up your copy.

The game features four vehicles, six tracks and intense multiplayer action. Jump in and start racing today!

Requirements for PC are fairly easy. An average dual-core, Windows and anything nVidia 8 series or above shouldn't have much trouble. Click the link for FAQ's etc.

(wasn't sure whether to post this here or general discussion, if it's in the wrong spot tell me and I'll move it)
