That depends on what game/program you want to see it in (not in zbrush, that's just not how it's material system works).

Ah, I was wondering about that. Im in 3ds max 2009 right now trying to figure out how to get my normals on my low poly. Any help/tutorials are apreciated.
Im looking some up on you tube now but its providing frustrating.

zbrush isn't really what you'll generally do that in. if you want to see it you'll want to do that in another modeller. if you have maya or max stick it in there. if you're on windows maybe pick up marmoset or something.

If you've already got the normal map saved somewhere, you just need to plug the normal map into the material editor in max. Open the material editor, find the map slot "bump", click it, select "normal bump" from the list, and add in your normal map. Also iirc the default bump value in 3ds max is set to 30, so change it to 100.

I'm sorry, I apparently missed a step. In the material editor, click "bump", then select "normal bump" from the list. Once that is done, the material editor will show 2 empty slots, one says "normal" and one says "additional bump" Click the box next to "normal". This will bring up another list, this time select "bitmap" from the list, then navigate to where you have your normal map saved, select and apply it.
