Having Tysons tat on there makes him look like this is what Tyson is ultimatley going to become which is just a whole other level of awesome on top of the sixteen hundred levels of awesome that are already there.
That's looking pretty cool. Keep in mind the final resolution. 512 doesn't pick up much for fine wrinkles and whatnot. Focus on primary and secondary information. Skin pores not so much. I'd exaggerate a lot for scale of stuff like band-aids.
Also, go more severe with the asymmetry. What you've got going is noticeable at high res if you're looking for it, but look at Sloth, that shit is super obvious. Go big.
EtotheRic: thanks for the advice, your right about that 512. i will be playing more with his facial features today and will push it a little further. as for the rest of him i think ill try to have more symmetry so i can get the most texel density out of that 512

Right now most of him is mirrored. im not sure if i should add more unique things considering the 512^2
I hate to say it but it makes me think of Sagat.
Not saying thats a bad thing but i would rather look at your awesome design and not think of Sagat right away.

make him not have gloves/hand Wraps but instead mutant hands that are rough and tough with spikes. Use the surface texture you have from the spikes on his back. I also would really focus on the texture not being human skin tones.
also for increasing texture space i would model and texture one spike and then just duplicate it all over his body.

He's actually going to have some giant boxing gloves with metal spikes or studs, havent decided yet. as for the skin i was going to give him a bizzare looking color like either red or blue(maybe even purple).

The only thing is that the gloves dont feel as interesting as his face. I know you said you were going to put spikes and what not but did you consider maybe making his hands the gloves? Like a mutation that made his fists swell up and the knuckle bones bursts through like spikes? It could play into the skin color you were going for too, like having the blue or purple skin transitioning to a swollen red color... Or not.
Im just tossing out ideas Either way can't wait to see the colors.

that would have been very creative but i was thinking of making his gloves yellow to compliment his purple skin tone. thanks for the input, i will try to work on the gloves to make them more interesting

i want to see gross feet with pointy toe nails.
His hands i want them to have mutant growths or spikes
that allow him to fight without hurting his hands.

awesome work man. Really digging the sculpt but I would probably skip the BIG hands. They don't really fit in with the rest of the character. Perhaps the boxing gloves with the spikes sticking out. They could be all ripped up and shredded where the spikes have just burst through. Either way I am keen to see where he goes. Great work.
Lookin good. I liked the craggy-fists too but these are still cool.
Looks really good for 2550, but for a boxing game I think you'd typically never see the back so there's lots of room to optimize there.
